<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the down time of an apparatus and to improve the efficiency of services on the market. <P>SOLUTION: A predetermined chart allows to instantaneously specify which of a printer side and a read side (including an ADF) has the factor of an abnormal image such as inclination.
