<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile the quick start-up of an exothermic temperature of a heating member when the electric current supply of a device returns and the maintenance of effects of sufficient electric power saving and energy saving even when an image forming device is provided with a function such as an energy saving mode function. <P>SOLUTION: The main control part 202 controls a capacitor charger 203, and charges a capacitor CP1 when needed. A sub-control part manages the energy saving mode of a digital copier, and energizing is stopped to the main control part 202 in shifting to the energy saving mode. However, a charge control circuit 10 compares a voltage S1 between terminals of the capacitor CP1 and a prescribed reference value S2 by a comparison circuit 3, and when the voltage S1 between the terminals is below the reference value S2, outputs a control signal S11 to direct the capacitor charger 203 to carry out the charging of the capacitor CP1 by taking the AND of an output signal of the comparison circuit 3 by an AND circuit 4 and an energy saving signal S3 which shows shifting into the energy saving mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
