PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master from which a colored molded article satisfying both mechanical physical properties and a color irregularity-preventing property can be produced, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This master batch is characterized by containing carbon dioxide as closed cells in an amount of 0.5 to 2 mass % and comprising a pigment and/or a filler, a dispersant, and a polyolefin or a polystyrenic resin.
