PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system with a lightning stroke protection apparatus at a low cost wherein an effect of a lightning rod onto an antenna less deteriorates the radiation pattern of the antenna even during transmission or reception. SOLUTION: In the antenna system with the lightning stroke protection apparatus wherein the lightning rod installed in the vicinity of a tip at a height of a mast protects the antenna for transmitting or receiving a broadcast signal, the mast 8 is provided with a cross arm 12 to fix the antenna 5, the antenna 5 is fixed to one end of the cross arm 12 via an antenna fixing metallic fixture 7, the other end of the cross arm 12 is fixed to the mast 8 via a mast fixing metal fitting 11, the antenna 5 is installed within the protecting range of the lightning rod 6, and a parting distance L between the antenna 5 and the lightning rod 6 is set to the odd number multiple of 1/4 of the wavelengthλof a transmission / reception signal which the antenna 5 transmits or receive.
