PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of grounding static electricity charged on a user surely by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The optical disk device is equipped with a tray which is provided so as to be freely haunted into a housing; a pickup module which is provided in the tray and which drives the rotation of a medium and performs at least either of the recording of information or the reproducing of information to/from the medium by irradiating the medium with light; a tray cover which is provided at one side of the tray and which is constituted of a conductive material; a front grounding part which is provided at the front end of the tray and which is constituted of a conductive material and also always grounded to the tray cover; and a bezel which is attached to the front end of the tray while covering the front grounding part.
