In a double rotary induction regulator of A.C. commutator motors the rotors 1, 2 and stators are arranged side-by-side the stator yokes being formed from a single stack of laminations 3, and the two rotors 1, 2 are supported within a common bearing end-plate 4 at the end remote from the drive. The gearwheels 7, 8 on the rotor shafts engage a common worm 6 which may be actuated by hand or by motor (not shown). The regulator unit may be built into the upper part of an A.C. commutator motor (not shown). |
