PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of readily discriminating a content of a digital photograph stored in a memory medium when image data is stored in the memory medium. SOLUTION: A memory medium (a CF card) set on a setting position on a tray having a memory medium connection terminal (TCF1A) is conveyed to a predetermined position in the printer, and then a terminal (TCF1) at the rear face of the tray connected to the memory medium connection terminal (TCF1A) is connected to a contact position 28 of the printer.
