PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing active motion wave water by which high quality active motion wave water is obtained. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for producing active motion wave water by feeding water to a tank in which a porous ceramic body is filled, the porous ceramic body is obtained by firing primary clay with a metal mixed at 800-900°C, finely pulverizing the fired clay and mixing with volcanic ash to form secondary clay and firing the secondary clay at 900-1,000°C and has a sharp edge-like swelled surface.
