LIQUID PHOTOCATALYST COMPOSITION AND PHOTOCATALYTIC BODY FORMED BY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid photocatalyst composition which easily exhibits the photocatalytic function of titanium dioxide and has the pH of a neutral range. SOLUTION: This liquid photocatalyst composition contains titanium dioxide sol in which an anatase type titanium dioxide fine particle on which 5-10 wt.% silica is deposited is dispersed. This photocatalyst composition shows the pH of the neutral range. The amount of the silica to be deposited is kept in a predetermined range so that the dispersion stability of the titanium dioxide fine particle can be insured even at the pH of the neutral range and the photocatalytic function of the titanium dioxide fine particle through the gaps among silica particles can be used effectively.
