PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtightness inspection method of a housing case and the housing case capable of performing the airtightness inspection in the screw insertion state as it is by applying fallout prevention of screws. SOLUTION: When performing the airtightness inspection, three long screws 4 among four are in the completely screwed state to screw holes on the back lid, and only one long screw 4 is in the unscrewed state (the long screw 4 can not be eliminated because slip-out prevention is applied to the tip thereof). A washer 6 with an O-ring is separated sufficiently from a front lid part 21 in the unscrewed state, and the inside of this housing case 2 is in the communicated state with the outside through a clearance between a screw insertion hole 21a and the long screw 4. Then, a tip ring-shaped part of a nozzle 43 is brought into pressure contact with the peripheral part of the screw insertion hole 21a in this state.
