PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining metallic members, which can achieve an excellent joining condition even for metals having high reflectance, such as copper, and does not cause the problem that a joining process requires a long time, and can reduce the size of a motor including a conductor element by reducing the distance between the conductor elements to be joined, and further to provide a metallic member joining apparatus used in the joining method. SOLUTION: The method for joining the metallic members is characterized by a process of applying a solder material 4 to a joining portion 3 between two metallic members 1, 2 and a process of melting the solder material by radiating laser on the solder material.
