PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet carrying rubber roll capable of maintaining the friction coefficient for a long time, and reducing deposition of pollutant substances from the roll. SOLUTION: A rubber-like elastic layer is formed by blending metallic oxides in ethylene, propylene, and diene rubber (EPDM) with the iodine value of≥15 to perform vulcanization by peroxides.
