PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of maintaining a high-precision recording, and a liquid jet apparatus. SOLUTION: A recording guide part is equipped with a protrusion 21 which can protrude from/recede into a recording guide surface, and a first switching means 22 which can switch between the protruding/receding states of the protrusion; and an ejection part is equipped with holding parts 11 and 12 which can abut on/be separated from a recording surface of the recording medium, and a second switching means 14 which can switch between the abutting/separated states of the holding parts. Thus, when a back end of the recording medium serves as a free end, lift can be prevented by pre-protruding the protrusion so as to support the back end of the recording medium; the high-precision recording can be performed; and a stain on the recording medium can be prevented. Furthermore, when the recording medium with a scratch-sensitive medium recording surface is ejected, the occurrence of a scratch on the medium recording surface can be prevented by pre-separating the holding part, and recording accuracy can be kept at a high level.
