PURPOSE:To continue stable blast furnace operation, by adjusting the charge amount by comparing the set value with the index value obtained by dividing the cumulative value of corrected values having the carbon charge and discharge amount balance calculated value corrected with the reference value by the furnace bottom area. CONSTITUTION:Carbon charge and discharge amount balance is supposed as DELTAC. Assuming the average carbon balance in normal time as DELTACs, DELTACs is reference value of DELTAC, and corrected value DELTACa (=DELTAC-DELTACs) corrected in the period subjected to calculation of DELTAC is zero when normal, shows a negative value when the fusion band is lower than the normal state, and turns to a positive value when the fusion band climbs. Therefore, the level changes of the fusion band may be known from the trend of the cumulative value of the corrected value DELTACa in a certain time of unit. The quotient of this cumulative value SIGMADELTACa divided by the furnace bottom area AM(m<2>) may be regarded as the index value of the furnace situations irrespective of the size of furnace capacity. The charge carbon amount is adjusted so that this index value may settle within the range of predetermined set values. |
