PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothpick which is less liable to pierce the finger, and the other matters such as a garbage bag during carrying or housing or after using, which is not bulky during carrying or housing, and where the selection range of material based on the viewpoint of rigidity and strength can be expanded in addition, and to provide a toothpick set. SOLUTION: In the case of using a toothpick form material 2, the proximal end of the form material 2 is cut off from a connection form material 3 at a cut-off line 5 and each cut-off form material is used. In the case of using the form material cut off like this, the form material 2 is folded along a folding line, and nearly a central part in a horizontal direction extending from one end to the other end in a vertical direction at the form material 2 is deformed to be in a nearly V-shaped posture (shape).
