The present invention discloses a laryngoscope comprising time indicating means. This medical device comprising a handle having a distal portion and a proximal portion; a blade adapted to be inserted into the respiratory truck of the patient; said blade comprising a distal portion and a proximal portion; said distal portion is in communication with the said proximal portion of the handle; time indicating means adapted to indicate that medical procedure of endotracheal intubation is been terminated or to be terminated soon. The laryngoscope may also include sensing means. The present invention also discloses a method for endotracheal intubating a patient by means of the aforesaid laryngoscope.
