<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of detecting distinctively only a hydrogen concentration in detection gas, even while hydrogen is mixed with the atmosphere including moisture in the detection gas. <P>SOLUTION: This gas sensor is constituted of a gas detection part 1, a gas introduction part 6 involving the gas detection part 1 so as to be out of contact with the gas detection part 1, an oxygen enrichment membrane 9 provided on a part of the wall surface of the gas introduction part 6, and a vacuum pump arranged on the outside of the gas introduction part 6 so as to keep airtightness with the oxygen enrichment membrane 9. Hereby, the detection gas in the state where steam is easily and sufficiently reduced by an extremely excellent steam permeability characteristic held by the oxygen enrichment membrane 9 reaches the gas detection part 1, and the effect that a detection error of the gas detection part 1 caused by moisture can be reduced relatively is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
