<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device in which the pressure of hydrogen gas in the hydrogen fuel tank installed in a portable fuel cell device is prevented from becoming high and as a means of preventing that, a safe means can be adopted without flowing out of the hydrogen gas. <P>SOLUTION: This is the fuel cell device having an equipment processing part that is operated by a fuel cell using hydrogen as a fuel as a power source and comprises a pressure sensor 4 for detecting the gas pressure of a hydrogen fuel, a dummy output part 8 for consuming power of the fuel fuel cell power generation, a dummy output switch part 9 for controlling switching on and off of the output to the dummy output part, a control part 12 for controlling power generation reaction of the fuel cell, and a power supply part for control part 13 that supplies power to the control part. The control part 12 switches on the dummy output switch when the pressure sensor becomes a prescribed pressure or more and makes the fuel cell start power generation, and by the consumption of power by the dummy output part, the gas pressure of the hydrogen fuel is returned to a prescribed pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
