PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely remove factors of mistake of a sample, by solving the problems of a sample storing tube for a medical examination sample or the like, wherein, when an address is connected to a wrong database, an extremely serious result may be produced because the information quantity described in a data address in that case is insufficient. SOLUTION: This sample storing tube 1 is equipped with a two-dimensional bar code 7 capable of reading data by a beam in the noncontact state, and includes a part having a narrowed shape on the lower part and a shape wherein a discoid bottom part 4 is provided on the lower end.
