<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save toner consumption and thereby, to cut a running cost in a printing device. <P>SOLUTION: In this printing system, the printing device comprises an estimating means for estimating the consumption of a coloring material to be consumed every page during printing from an entered printing job and a posting means for posting to a computer which has outputted the printing job in such a case that a page whose consumption of the coloring material estimated by the estimating means is beyond a prescribed threshold value whenever such an occasion takes place. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
