PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LGA electric connector for electrically connecting an IC module to a circuit board. SOLUTION: The LGA electric connector, for electrically connecting the IC module to the circuit board, is provided with an insulator main body and a plurality of conductive terminals contained in the same. The insulator main body is provided with a conductive zone and a base part consisting of a first mounting face and a second mounting face. The conductive zone has a plurality of terminal containing spaces arrayed in a matrix shape, and the plurality of conductive terminals are contained in the corresponding terminal containing spaces. A first protrusion is designed to be protruded upward from the first mounting face, and a second protrusion protruded downward from the second mounting face. Each protrusion is set in the middle of two adjacent terminal containing spaces, so as to separate them. The protrusions prevent the conductive terminals from excessive deformation, realizing high-frequency and high-speed signal transmission with excellent stability and reliability between electronic equipment.
