SOLUTION: An anatomical standard model M having a variable geometry is selected for an examination object to be examined corresponding to diagnostic subject setting, a plurality of overview images of an area including the examination object are measured, and various overview scanning parameters UP for controlling the measurement of the overview images are decided corresponding to the selected anatomical standard model M. A target structure within the tomographic image data UD of the measured overview images is obtained, and the standard model M is individualized so as to match with the obtained target structure Z. A scanning parameter SP for controlling the magnetic resonance tomograph 1 so as to measure following tomographic images is selected corresponding to the selected anatomical standard model M and the diagnostic subject setting, the selected scanning parameter SP is individualized corresponding to the individualized anatomical standard model M, and the plurality of tomographic images are measured on the basis of the individualized scanning parameter ISP.
