1. A method of clean mining of mineral deposits by chamber-and-pillar system: The exploitation field is cut with chamber workings into rectangular technological pillars, which are in turn cut into supporting pillars, arranged into rows parallel and perpendicular to the gob line. The pillar size is adjusted to the rock mass pressure and to the rock strength. The pillars are mined mechanically in stages, while a selected cribbing is applied in the mined space. Unique characteristics: The pillars (3) in the last row before the gob line are gradually mined, beginning from the gob line and proceeding in the direction of the progress of the exploitation front. Once a pillar is mined, the cribbing (4) is shifted to the mined space. Then, the next part of each pillar in a given row is mined in the same way, while the cribbing (4) is shifted to the mined spaces. The work cycle is repeated in the next row of pillars. |
