FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: ring drill comprises shank and working section made of cylindrical base and diamond-containing dies arranged on its inner, outer, and cutting parts. The cylindrical base is provided with openings that receives baffles made of diamond-containing dies that connect the inner and outer diamond-containing dies. The openings are made of slots. The method comprises making inner, outer, and cutting diamond-containing dies on the cylindrical section of the drill. The dies can be made by galvanostegy with adding metallized or granulated diamond powder into the electrolyte.
