PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high luminance of a fluorescent lamp by increasing a ratio of light emitted to the outside out of visible light emitted from a phosphor applied to the inside wall of a glass tube of the fluorescent lamp and entered into glass. SOLUTION: A diffusion material 1 is dispersed in glass beads 2 and 16 for sealing both ends of the glass tube 6 of the fluorescent lamp, whereby light closed in the glass out of visible light emitted from the phosphor 11 applied to the inside wall of the glass tube 6 of the fluorescent lamp and entered into the glass reaches the diffusion material 1 dispersed in the glass beads 2 and 16, and diffusive light is made to be emitted to the outside through the glass beads 2 and 16.
