METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COMPLEX TWISTING PAPER THREAD MADE BY CUTTING PAPER IN LONG STRIP WITH NARROW WIDTH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To composite flat paper thread prepared by cutting thin paper made of Manila hemp of≤25 g/cm2in long stripes having 0.5-7 mm width, various spun yarns and filament yarns to adjust them to have a shape, strength, hand feeling and gloss of a composite paper strand based on expanding application of woven or knit products in one step. SOLUTION: The composite paper strand is produced by adding a mixed solution 10 of water with a water soluble surfactant to flat paper threads 7 prepared by cutting paper to have narrow widths, false twisting the same by holding the same between contact surfaces of a top roller 12 and a bottom roller in a flexible and wet condition, spirally winding various spun filament yarns 16 installed to a hollow spindle 17 around the paper thread 7a brought from a flat shape to a round shape to hold the round shape of the paper thread, passing the same through a V-shaped thread route guide 19 fixed to the lower outlet of a false twist spindle 18 with holding the round shape and pulling out the composite paper strand 7b having no flat shape on the surface of the strand.
