PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barge connection body and a barge connection structure in which a self-propelled ship and barges are connected to each other, or barges are connected to each other without adjusting the drafts thereof, and a barge connecting ship with barges connected thereto. SOLUTION: In the barge connection structure which is fitted to a self-propelled ship in an elevating/lowering manner and connects the self-propelled ship to a barge via a connection body also fitted to the barge in an elevating/lowering manner, the connection body is afloat with the draft of the connection body itself without being affected by the draft condition of the self-propelled ship or the draft condition of the barge. A first barge and a second barge are connected to each other via the connection body which is fitted to the first barge in an elevating/lowering manner and is also fitted to the second barge in an elevating/lowering manner. The connection body is afloat with the draft condition of the connection body itself without being affected by the draft condition of the first barge or the draft condition of the second barge.
