<p>The invention discloses a desalting agent, which comprises a first composition and a second composition, the first composition is made by mixing tannin, oxalic acid and citric acid. The second composition is made by mixing sodium carbonate and sodium hydroxide. The invention also discloses a desalting method which includes the following steps, first adding the said desalting agent into the seawater or brine water, then aerating after finishing reaction. If necessary, adsorbing the seawater or brine water and removing color by adding active carbon. Using this agent and this method, cost and energy consumption are very low.</p> |
