DNA CHIP AND BIOSENSOR USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized biosensor of high sensitivity, capable of rapidly and simply detecting specific DNAs without performing labelling with a fluorescent substance or the like.

SOLUTION: One or a plurality of microwells are arranged on the surface of an electrode by a microprocessing technique, to produce a biomolecule array chip wherein probe DNA is fixed to each of a plurality of the microwells, and a change in an oxidation-reduction current value at the interaction of target DNA with probe DNA is measured with high sensitivity to detect the variation of a single base in target DNA.
