<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of taking out easily a holding member without damaging a gas detecting element, when taking out the gas detecting element or the holding member for holding the gas detecting element, from a casing member. <P>SOLUTION: This gas sensor 100 is provided with the gas detecting element 120 and the casing member 160. The casing member 160 has a main metal 161 (the first casing part) and a screw member 164 (the second casing member) fixed demountably to the main metal 161, the screw member 164 presses the holding member 130 for holding the gas detecting element 120 indirectly to an axial tip side, and the main metal 161 presses the holding member 130 directly to an axial rear side, and the holding member 130 is fixed thereby to hold the gas detecting element 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
