PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger that shows sufficient external corrosion resistance even under a severe corrosive environment such as sticking of a corrosion accelerating liquid such as an antifreezing agent, when a tube is made thin. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger has the tube composed of a thin aluminum alloy clad material in which an Al-Si based filler metal containing 5-20 mass % Si is clad on one surface of an aluminum alloy-made core material having 0.05-1.0 mass % Si and in which a sacrifice material containing 2-10 mass % Zn and/or 1-5 mass % Mg is clad on the other surface. In this aluminum alloy-made heat exchanger, an EPMA element diffusion profile from the filler metal side of the clad material satisfies the following expression (1) and/or (2). Also, a manufacturing method for this heat exchanger is is disclosed. The expression (1) is L-L<SB>Si</SB>-L<SB>Zn</SB>≥40 (μm) while the expression (2) is L-L<SB>Si</SB>-L<SB>Mg</SB>≥5 (μm), where L is a tube plate thickness (μm), L<SB>Si</SB>is a position (μm) indicating a prescribed diffusion Si quantity from the filler metal surface, and L<SB>Zn</SB>and L<SB>Mg</SB>indicate areas (μm) showing a prescribed diffusion Zn and Mg quantity respectively from the sacrifice material.
