PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system capable of transmitting object data or an object program to a desired unit out of a plurality of hardware units constituted of the same board. SOLUTION: In the information processing system, a host device is connected to a plurality of processing units. The host device 100 is provided with a transmission means 110 identifying each processing unit based on unique information held by each of the processing units, and transmitting, through a communication means, data to the object processing unit based on the unique information. Each of the processing units is provided with: unique information holding means 120, 121, 122 holding the unique information for identifying the other processing units; reception means 140, 141, 142 receiving, through the communication means, the data transmitted from the host device; and storage means 150, 151, 152 storing the data received by the reception means.
