<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional device wherein retightening is necessary in periodical inspection of a hose clamp, as the outer diameter of a rubber or plastic hose is reduced by deterioration of rebound resilience and the like, and the tightening amount of the hose clamp is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic tightening device for the hose clamp is composed of a spindle for rotating a worm screw part of the hose clamp, a case main body for rotatably supporting the spindle, an elastic energizing means for rotating the spindle relatively to the case main body, and a means for engaging the case main body with the hose clamp. Further a means for disconnectably connecting the spindle with the case main body, and a display for indicating a position of the relative rotation of the case main body and the spindle are mounted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
