PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure excellent communication circumstances between a communication apparatus provided on the tire side and a communication apparatus provided on the car body side. SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for inspecting a condition of the tire of a vehicle 1 comprises an air pressure sensor 30 provided on the tire 20 to detect the air pressure in the tire 20, a transmitter 40 and a transmitting antenna 50 for transmitting the detected air pressure to the car body 12 side, a receiving antenna 62 provided on the car body 12, an electric control unit ECU 80 for controlling a direct type tire air pressure monitoring system by acquiring the air pressure from the transmitted signals, a buzzer 70 and a display 72 for outputting the abnormality of the air pressure. The receiving antenna 62 is integratedly formed with a mud guard 60 which is arranged in the neighborhood of the tire 20 as an exterior component of the car body 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
