PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein large difference in coefficients of friction and abrasion caused by the variation in the types of lubricant, is found in a sliding material impregnated and coated with a polytetrafluoroethylene composition on its surface of a porous metal sintered layer backed with a metallic back metal, as the lubricant of mineral oil base and that of synthetic oil are used for a shock absorber guide bush and a bush for a compressor. SOLUTION: A polytetrafluoroethylene composition composed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) including cross-linked polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is impregnated and coated.
