PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold effective beads on a seal with excellent productivity also in a rubber gasket by reviewing a molding means. SOLUTION: In this method for molding a thin-walled gasket formed of a rubber material or a composite material including the rubber material interposed between sealed members disposed oppositely to each other, an unvulcanized gasket 1' is prepared by a rubber material before vulcanization or a semi-vulcanized rubber material 2', and the unvulcanized gasket 1' is press-molded in such a state that the projected mold parts 9 and 10 of a press mold 7 are crimped in the thickness direction thereof. The rubber material is filled in the portion of a recessed mold part 11 adjacent to a crimping part 13 of the unvulcanized gasket 1' in which the press mold 7 is crimped to form beads 6 raised from the surface position 12 of the unvulcanized gasket 1' before press-molding.
