<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosed lighting fixture whose translucent cover is prevented from flying out of the fixture, without changing its weight. <P>SOLUTION: A tempered glass 2e1 of a body 2 of the fixture, whose inner wall is covered with a protective film 2e3 glued with an adhesive 2e2, is fixed to a lid 2d of the body 2 around an opening with an adhesive 2f. This keeps waterproofness for fixing the translucent cover to the body, without gluing the protective film onto it. This also reduces the possibility that the protective film is damaged by dust and the elements. Moreover, since the protective film is glued to the translucent cover with the adhesive, there is no need to be concerned about the adhesion of the film to the glass like the conventional protective films, which expands the range of choice of the protective film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
