PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator structure for a rotary electric machine capable of improving the torsional rigidigy of a stator, while suppressing to minimum a drastic increase in the number of component parts or the increase in mass. SOLUTION: In the stator structure for a rotary electric machine constituted of a stator 101 wherein a plurality of stator teeth 203 for winding a coil 205 are radially arranged, an outer rotor 103 provided outside the stator, an inner rotor 102 provided inside the stator, cylindrical shell-like members 207, 208 are arranged at the air gap part between the stator 101 and the outer rotor 103 and/or the air gap part between the stator 101 and the inner rotor 102, and the stator teeth are wrapped in a shell-like member to constitute a stator.
