A view in the direction of the tubing, shows the rollers (21, 22) arranged in pairs, in V-shaped configurations. Each pair is radially adjustable together, with respect to the sheet tubing. Rollers are held at one end. They are held at their outer ends, with their inner ends adjacently to each other. Each pair has height-adjustable intersecting axes. In a similar arrangement, they are held at their inner ends. The rollers overlap- and are uniformly-distributed circumferentially. A common carrier (15) supports the rollers and is at right angles to them; it adjusts radially with them. Suction nozzles (25) lie below stacked roller pairs, and are adjustable with them. Outer ends of adjacent roller pairs cross over each other, when seen in plan view. 16 rollers are distributed about the circumference in a single plane. They are mounted on rolling-element bearings, supported by fixed axes. The rollers slide directly on fixed roller axes. |
