PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patent map display device for time-sequentially performing the block-display of bibliographic items in each grid in a matrix map in which patent information extracted based on retrieval conditions is analytically displayed. SOLUTION: This patent map display device is provided with at least an input means and a display means, and configured to display a matrix map prepared based on retrieval conditions inputted by the input means at the display means. The matrix map is characterized by time-sequentially performing the block-display of predetermined bibliographic items in each grid in which extracted patent information is analytically displayed. The predetermined bibliographic items are a plurality of preliminarily set items, and the preliminarily set predetermined items among the plurality of items are displayed so as to be identified.
