PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable image forming apparatus which sustains a low coefficient of surface friction and is good in electrophotographic characteristics and with which image formation and cleaning stable for a long period can be performed. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor having a layer containing at least a charge generating substance and a charge transfer substance on a conductive support contains the acryl denatured polyorganosiloxane prepared by subjecting a polyorganosiloxane expressed by general formula (1) and (meth)acrylate expressed by general formula (2) or a mixture composd of≥70wt% the (meth)acrylate and≤30wt% copolymerizable monomer to emulsification graft copolyemerization at a ratio of 5:95 to 95:5 by weight in the extreme surface layer and is provided with a mechanism for applying a lubricity imparting agent to the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor.
