PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an infrared ray-shielding substance-containing cosmetic, cutting infrared rays and suppressing the rise of skin temperature and suppressing production of sebum and perspiration when applied to the skin and making comfortability of the skin extremely favorable by synergistic effect with an antiperspirant, an antiseptic agent, a deodorant, or the like. SOLUTION: This infrared ray-shielding substance-containing cosmetic comprises at least one kind of infrared ray-shielding substance having 0.5-20μm average particle diameter and at least one kind of agent selected from the antiperspirant, the antiseptic agent and the deodorant.
