A rack for knives, hand tools, &c., comprises a member 2, with openings 5, and a flexible member 1, with slots 4, mounted on a base 3 with the slots 4 opposite the openings 5 so that when the knife blades are passed into the slots 4 and then moved so that their handles enter the openings 5, the flexible member 1 is resiliently deformed so as to grip the blade. The member 1 is of synthetic plastics material, is mounted in a groove in a block 6 and is inclined away from the member 2; it may be slit transversely between the slots 4. |
