<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor component composed of an aluminum alloy whose corrosion resistance can be improved while maintaining its metallic luster to a satisfactory condition, and to provide a method of producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The outdoor component is provided with a component body, an alumite layer and a corrosion resistant layer. The component body is composed of an aluminum alloy, and is used in the outdoor. The alumite layer has a defective part and a normal part, and is formed on the part exposed to the outside in the component body. The normal part is formed so as to be a thickness of 0.5 to 5 micron. The corrosion resistant layer has a defective corrosion resistant layer and a normal corrosion resistant layer, and is composed of an anion resin or a cation resin.
