PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install the assembly of a retainer and rollers to the inner peripheral side of an outer ring having flange parts on both axial sides thereof. SOLUTION: This retainer for the roller bearing comprises a plurality of pockets 10 disposed on the radial inside of the outer ring 1 and holding the rollers 2. Roller stop parts 13-15 elastically deforming and elastically recovering according to the pressing by the rollers fitted into the pockets and the releasing of the pressing are installed on the radial inner side of the wall surface of each pocket.
