PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vertical shaft valve type hydraulic power generation equipment capable of suppressing influence of swirl capable of generating toward a water wheel. SOLUTION: One end of a straightening bar 13-1 is fixed at an upper surface part of a valve 1 having a generator stored therein and another end of the straightening bar 13-1 is projected in a flow passage and is extended to a ceiling 14 of a power plant, and is fixed on the ceiling 14.
