<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for preventing a leakage of an image file externally acquired and stored. <P>SOLUTION: As to image files stored in a storage section 21 corresponding to users of PCs 2 for requesting image files via a LAN, the image processing apparatus places limits on image files to which the execution of various processes is permitted and processing contents applicable to each image file depending on the users and stores the results to a user information DB 21b. Upon the receipt of a request of an image file via the LAN, a control section 10 discriminates each file and each of processing contents permitted to the user requesting the image file on the basis of the user information DB 21b and provides a web page 21a to the PC 2 of the user, the web page 21a displaying a picture whereby the user can select each of permitted image files and each of permitted processing contents.
