<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for supporting the batch change in setting of printer drivers in a network printing system. <P>SOLUTION: This printing system comprises a printer, a server computer, and a plurality of printer hosts. Each printer host comprises a storage means; a printer driver means for accepting a setting for printing and performing a processing for controlling the printer; a flag means showing either ON or OFF; and a setting updating means for performing, at the time of showing ON by the flag means, the setting for printing of the printer driver means according to a setting information file stored in a predetermined area of the storage means. The server computer comprises a means for storing the setting information file, and an update control means for copying the setting information file in the predetermined area of the printer host, and setting the flag means ON. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
