PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for issuing a receipt by which the actual outer appearance of a commodity can be known. SOLUTION: The receipt issuing device has a commodity storage part (31) which stores a commodity name of a relevant commodity sold and the exact commodity image of the commodity sold correspondingly to a commodity code of the commodity sold; and an issuing part (1, 2, 4) which a commodity code of a purchased commodity is inputted to, if the commodity code of the purchased commodity matches the commodity code of the commodity sold stored in the commodity storage unit, reads, from the commodity storage part, the commodity name of the corresponding commodity sold and the exact commodity image of the corresponding commodity sold as a read commodity name and a read commodity image, and issues a receipt on which the read commodity name and the read commodity image are printed.
