<p>A transfer device (20) includes: means for generating a bit string (13) in which a bit string (14q) is arranged in a predetermined order by performing only logic operation without subjecting the bit string (14q) received from an I/O device (50q (q = A, B, C)) to a bit shift operation and transmitting the bit string (13) to a controller (10); and means for transmitting template information (45a, 45b, 45c) indicating the relationship between the bit position in the bit string (13) and the bit position in the bit string (14q) to a corresponding I/O device (50q). The I/O device (50q) includes: means for storing the template information (45a, 45b, 45c) received from the transfer device (20); and means for generating the bit string (14q) to be transmitted to the transfer device (20) according to the input state and the stored template information. Thus, it is possible to obtain a data collection system not requiring shift operation in the transfer device.</p> |
